New Catering Company

In recent years, our school meals service has been developed and transformed, since we brought the catering service into the school. Sasha (our school cook) has delivered a bespoke menu, providing both the children and staff with fresh and tasty meals daily.

The last year has been more challenging than ever with staffing changes and increased food costs, so we have made an informed decision to move the catering across to our Coombe Academy Trust contract with Independent Catering, please see the video above.

To help Independent plan for January, we would like all families to select the meals for/with their child and respond using the Meal Order Form by Friday 17th December please. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Packed Lunches & Nut Free School

With our school meal menu we do try to encourage our children to eat vegetables, salads, fruit and to drink lots of water with their meal.

When children bring packed lunches into school from home, we ask if parents could not include sweets, nuts or any food products with traces of nuts, chocolate or any fizzy drinks in their lunch boxes. We suggest a sandwich, reduced salt crisps, yoghurt, a piece of fruit with their filled water bottles or some fruit juice.

Under no circumstances are food products with NUTS or traces of nuts allowed on the school premises.

We have children who are highly allergic to nuts and we do not want to put them at risk.
